Moturoa Mission

As a Nelson city enviro group we were invited to participate in the moturoa mission. It was a sustainability challenge, where we had to get as many points as we could from each of the different activities.

We learnt about forestry, pest control, insects, birds, charcoal and water quality of rivers and streams. It was a fun day that was full of learning about our environment.

Our school got one of the teamwork awards for the day. The prize was a bird feeder for the school.
